LOCAL RIDES - MOUNTAIN, ROAD AND GRAVEL - SEEK AND ENJOY!

Picture
The past couple of years have certainly been different for all of us with the pandemic, but one thing has been a constant and that's the opportunity to ride our bikes.

Joy Ride has always prided itself in enabling riders to get out and enjoy their surroundings, especially helping out by putting on group rides.

Since leadings rides was a challenge during this time, we wanted to help by providing you links to rides and links to get rides to help you explore the local area.  These rides just scratch the surface of all the cool stuff out there, but you can build upon them and go from there.

If you have a navigational device (i.e. Garmin, Wahoo, Smart Phone with Ride with GPS App, etc.) you can use any of these routes and follow along.

Remember make every ride and adventure, no matter the distance.  Getting out there and having fun is what is important part.

If you have any questions or ideas for rides that you think we should share, be sure to let us know by emailing us.

Be sure to check out our Strava page to see what other Joy Ride fans are up to.

mountain bike routes

There are so many classic routes in the Capitol Forest, getting there is the first step.  It's nothing but fun from there.
-Honestly, our friends at FOCF (Friends of the Capitol Forest) have this one covered better than we could ever do.  So click the following link for route suggestions.

Then to be super-prepared out there in the Capitol Forest, visit this link for steps for how to download a map of the Capitol Forest to your smart phone to help you keep track of where you might be at any time.  Super helpful and we use it all the time.
