Family Gravel Ride, May 18
Do you have some young rippers that aren't quite ready for the prime time of our full gravel rides?! Then this is for you!
When: May, 18, 2019; 10 am
Where: Orange gate off Summit Lake Shore Rd NW near the intersection with Summit Lake Rd NW (the gravel road is called Sheepcamp Rd on Google Maps). There is parking just down Summit Lake Shore Rd at Fire Station 93.
What: Colleen Welch, intrepid bike packer, gravel grinder rider, shop ambassador, and grandmother of 2 is leading a family fun ride on gravel. This ride is for families with young kids (in the 4-12 year old range) who have a bike. Balance bikes, pedal bikes, tagalong (trail-a-bike) cargo bikes... you get the picture. We’ll keep it to about a 5 mile round trip, out and back on fairly flat terrain. At least one parent or guardian is required per two kids. Dress for the weather. Bring water and snacks for yourself and your kid(s). Helmets are required.
RSVP HERE to give us an idea of how many to expect.
