Usually this time of year we have already kicked off the Gravelpalooza Season but we all know this year is different.  Lots of things we look forward to (racing, group rides, fondos, etc.) were all cancelled.  That all happened for all the right reasons though and we have been able to continue to recreate responsibly.  We know folks come from all over to join in the Gravelpalooza fun and we have fielded lots of questions about when we are going to start things back up since we cut the season short.

In the interest of safety, we are not going to hold our usual mass start gravel group rides, BUT that doesn't mean we cannot give you something to look forward to.  Now onto the good stuff, so if we are not going to do what we always do, what are we going to do?

DIY GRAVELPALOOZA!  That's right, do it yourself.  We provide the route, you ride it when you want.  Pick a sunny day, pick a day when it is pouring, do it in the dark, take the morning or afternoon off, but just get out and do it!

We will put out a route once a month for you to tackle.  We'll test it out, prove that it is worthy and then release it to you,

To kick things off this month, why not head to one of the high points?  We did not get a chance to get there last season, so right out of the gate, you are going to Capitol Peak.  Yes, the Peak on Ride One.  Our route has you start at the Y (Waddell and Sherman Valley Roads) but you can start anywhere.  Start at the Skep, start at Vics, start from home, just start!  The route just happens to flow really nicely the way it's mapped out.  Knock out a majority of the climbing in the first 10 miles and coast from there (well not really, but you get the idea).

Now get out there and have fun!

for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience mindfully u scsing our emot sdcions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
