We are starting 2021 off with a new DIY route to help start things off. None of us were happy when we had to shut down the Gravelplaooza season early last March and hope we will be able to kick things off again sometime soon. Until then, we will keep putting out DIY routes to help you keep the gravel ride fire burning!
The Welcome 2021 route starts at Mima Trailhead and heads out on the paved Marksman Road to Bordeaux Road to D-Line. You will eventually branch off on the D-2000 where you head right and UPHILL until you meet the D-3000 for a fast descent* back to D-Line. From there you backtrack on the paved road until you get to the top of the hill and the D-4000 which you follow until the D-4600 for a up and down trip back towards the Mima Trailhead* with even a touch of trail to finish things off.
*Use your judgement and caution on the D-3000 descent, it is fast with some sharp corners. And watch for walkers, hikers, runners and horses on the last 1/2 mile stretch of the route*
