We have had some pretty crazy spring weather this week, but we are not going to let that get in the way of Gravelpalooza. We are looking forward to seeing you out there.
This time around we are going to meet at the Rock Candy Trailhead at 9 am on Saturday. The route details can be found in the attached RWGPS file. Please be sure to upload it to your navigational device. Our main goal is to eventually get to Rock Candy Mountain Summit. If that does not pan out, we will just roll with it. The main summit is an out and back though, so all is not lost if we cannot get there due to snow, wind or hail. Additionally, the route does allow for an easy exit to the start at 12 miles if you are not feeling up for a big climb.
Be sure to dress appropriately as we might find snow, rain, sun and/or hail.
As always, these rides are a best fit for experienced cyclists who are interested in the challenges the Capitol Forest has to offer with lots of climbing, some regrouping and chatting all mixed together.
