Rain was in the forecast last time and there may have been some, but the Capitol Forest still delivered on views and good times. You never know what you will get until you get out there.
This week we will be leaving from Mima Falls Trailhead. From there we will head out via the E-roads to Bordeaux Road. After some time on the pavement, we will traverse the E-Line. This is an up and down road that takes you along the southern part of the Capitol Forest. After the E-Line, there will be an option to take D-Line all the way back to the start (Click Here for the Light edition of this week's route). The full route this week will then climb up the D-1000 and down the D-3000 which some of you may remember we headed up on our first ride a few weeks back.
Be sure to have both routes loaded on your navigational device of choice if you think you might want to make a decision at the start of the ride.
*Even though these are no-drop rides, we encourage riders that attend to come with a solid level of fitness. Riding gravel in and around the Capitol Forest is challenging to say the least. Additionally, now is the time to make sure your bike is ready (shifting working smoothly, fresh tubeless sealant, you have a multi-tool, a few links of chain and master link, etc.)
