The next Gravelpalooza will be rolling from Rock Candy Trailhead on the north side of the Capitol Forest on Saturday November 5th at 10 am. We will be visiting the B and A roads this week as we venture towards the Porter Creek area. The ride will be almost all gravel with just a bit of pavement. And since we are on the north side of the forest, all roads are either up or down, but with each of the two climbs on this route are two fast descents that follow. It will be nowhere near as bumpy (and dry) as last time.
Unlike our season opener a few weeks ago, you will want to be ready for the rain. Fenders and wet weather gear will likely by super-helpful based on the forecast and recent true PNW weather we have been having. If you feel like you might need to up your wet weather game, stop by the shop and see what we can do to assist.
Another option we are including this time around are medium and ultralite versions of the route for those looking for a little less gravel after their breakfast. If you think you might like one of these routes, please save them to your navigational device and have them ready.

*Even though these are no-drop rides, we encourage riders that attend to come with a solid level of fitness. Riding gravel in and around the Capitol Forest is challenging to say the least. Additionally, now is the time to make sure your bike is ready (shifting working smoothly, fresh tubeless sealant, you have a multi-tool, a few links of chain and master link, etc.)
