Constructed in Bellingham WA by local trail advocate and rider JC Canfield, the High Above Cascadia Hip Pack is a fully seam sealed waterproof "lumbar" bag designed for you to carry all of your gear without having to worry about unnecessary lower back or shoulder discomfort. Constructed of VX41 waterproof material and featuring heaving duty nylon webbing, this Hip Pack lives up to it's name sake and will protect all of your gear from the rugged conditions that Cascadia has to offer, all while keeping the weight on your hips, and off your back.
Ya ya ya I know what you're thinking "Well what can this pack carry that my jersey can't?"...."Aren't hip packs sooooo 1993?".... "Wait, isn't this a Fanny pack?" I'm going to answer all of these questions bellow, so start scrolling and hold the judgment.
Shop monkey Cam Sloan was nice enough to break his pack down for us as he rode with it this morning. What do we have here.. Well it looks like pretty much every thing you need aside from food. We ask Cam about that and he said that it's more indicative of bad planning rather then the carrying capacity of the bag. In fact he said that inside it can carry 3/4s of a Taco Truck burrito and one OCR cookie on top of what is shown here. We'll check back on that later to confirm. In the mean time keep scrolling to see what we KNOW it can fit.
