Gravelpalooza is back in Capitol Forest this go around, meeting at Rock Candy trailhead parking lot at 10am this Saturday, February 4. Winter just would not be the same without gravel rides. Gravelpalooza is the cure for the winter blues!  Remember your Discover Pass for parking. We will start our introduction at 10am and leave shortly thereafter.  We have two routes options for our first February ride. Make sure to have one (or both) routes downloaded to your device for safety's sake.

*Even though these are no-drop rides, for the safety of all, we require that riders come with a solid level of fitness. Riding gravel in and around the Capitol Forest is physically demanding and weather conditions can be challenging to say the least. If you are in doubt about your fitness, we recommend that you try a short route first. We will have a ride sweep that makes sure no one gets dropped but they will recommend that you turn back or take a shorter route if you can't stay connected with the back of the pack.

Additionally, now is the time to make sure your bike is ready (shifting working smoothly, fresh tubeless sealant, etc.)

It's been a while, but Gravelpalooza is heading back to the roads in and around Lake Sylvia State Park.  Riding in the Capitol Forest is always a blast but heading out to explore new roads is special too.  This route does not have long sustained like climbs like the Capitol Forest, instead you will trade those long efforts for short and punchy rises.

So make ready your bike, because the special route the Gravelpalooza team has curated is coming up this Saturday January 21st.  Introductions and route overview will start at 10 am and we will head out after that.

Even though these are no-drop rides, we encourage riders that attend to come with a solid level of fitness. Riding gravel in and around the Capitol Forest is challenging to say the least. Additionally, now is the time to make sure your bike is ready (shifting working smoothly, fresh tubeless sealant, etc.)
