Every year we look forward to being able to bring all of our valued customers out to the forest and indulge them in an afternoon of bikes, beer and burgers. Saturday was no exception, even with some afternoon rain we saw people people coming out in record numbers to try out some the best new bikes from our brands, Norco, Kona and Yeti... and even some cool new Scotts! This is refreshing on several levels, for one it's incredibly uplifting for us to see such a strong turn out at an event we've invested so much time into, but more importantly it's an amazing opportunity to check the pulse of the local MTB scene... And holy smokes we've never seen it this strong. Aside from the regular crew, we saw an amazing amount of riders coming down from Seattle, not only visit our demo but also in excitement to ride our amazing, and often taken for granted trails in Capitol Forest. What a great reminder of how kick ass our back yard is! Its was a steady stream of people coming through all day, and bikes were never sitting for long. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from.... ahh whoops wrong moto. But change some words up and this could easily apply to the new Yeti SB5.5, a monster of a 29er that we got finally out for a rip. Zero disappointment there! This could be the fastest bike we've ever gotten to rip down a trail, with 160mm travel front and 140mm in the rear, this is a hard charging beast! Smiling customers and owners alike. Demo days are never boring!
