If you've ever found yourself at a cycling event in or around the pacific northwest there is a great chance that you have been in proximity with Jim Brown. If you've ever spent time talking to local cyclists then there is a good chance that his name has come up. Jim's dedication to the local cycling community has impacted many lives around the PNW and on any given ride its hard to not have someone who grew up under his tutelage in Rad Racing. If you look on the right side of our page you'll notice the Hold Fast Banner. This will be staying around for a while. If you click on this banner it will direct you to a Fundly account where donations are being collected to help Jim and his family get through some of their upcoming medical bills. Every little bit helps. Jim has poured his heart and soul in to the cycling community, both local and away, and now is our chance to give back. Lets help Jim and his family get past the next tough stage in life. |

I admire Jimm's dedication and love for local cycling community. It seems like he considers this as his life already, and he can never go wrong with that! Well, when we are all grown up, we will understand how it feels like to serve the cycling community. There are talented cyclists who lack of support, and Jim exists because of them. I will always be proud of people who have good heart. It's very obvious that there are still a lot of people who will do such thing!

In addition to being one of the greatest running backs ever, Brown was also an extremely physical runner who often ran over defenders rather than around them. His power as a runner often led him to fight off defenders when they tried to tackle him low or grab him high when he was on their side of the field. Brown was so powerful that he even broke his own records when it came to yards per carry (6.3) and yards per reception (16).
